Thank you for your interest in the Passports4Change Mentoring Program! If you are selected as a mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a girl of color, as well as the opportunity to learn from your brilliant, amazing mentee.
Connect Girls of Color with a woman of color to foster a genuine, reciprocal learning relationship
Offer Girls of Color the opportunity to engage in a cross-cultural exchange experience while being guided through the experience by a mentor
Facilitate a collaborative cross-cultural exchange experience for girls of color and women of color
21 years of age at least (with the exception of peer mentors)
Completion of mentor application and profile
Agree to 6 month commitment to the program
Completion of screening process
Attend required mentor trainings (a total of 3) (virtual/online)
Commit to student(s) for 6-8 month term (1-2 hours per month maximum commitment)

Request for Clearance and Volunteer Fingerprinting application forms (Print, complete, and follow the instructions the forms)
After your application has been received, you will be contacted to attend a mandatory mentor orientation and training session (this will be hosted virtually). Orientation and background check clearance are mandatory prior to being matched with a student. Upon clearance, you will then move forward with the matching process.
